ADMINISTRATION OF THE INSTRUCTOR/COURSE EVALUATION FORMS (Weeks
10-11)
All students whether full-time or part-time, are asked to complete
Instructor/Course Evaluation forms for each of the classes in which they
are enrolled. This very important activity informs the quality of the
University’s courses of study.
In the current AY, in Semester 1, 20% of classes will be evaluated
using the on-line software in development for the Instructor/Course
evaluation process. This software has been developed and refined in
several trials during AY 2004/05. The project is under the leadership of
Mr. Valeri Pougatchev, Lecturer in the School of Computing and
Information Technology (SCIT) and employs two SCIT graduates, who first
explored the possibility of translating the paper-based
Instructor/Course evaluation system into an on-line facility as their
major project in the final year of the undergraduate programme in AY
2003/04.
