The academic
management of the University of Technology, Jamaica, is structured
within five faculties, namely, the Faculty of the Built Environment,
the Faculty of Business and Management, the Faculty of Education and
Liberal Studies, the Faculty of Engineering and Computing and the
Faculty of Health and Applied Science.
The Faculty of the Built Environment incorporates the School of
Building and Land Management and the Caribbean School of
Architecture. Within the schools, professional programmes are
delivered in the fields of Architecture, Construction Engineering
and Management, Land Economy and Valuation Surveying, Land Surveying
and Geographic Information Science, Quantity Surveying, and Urban
and Regional Planning. The Faculty has an active research and
consulting division.
