Each year, the Multimedia Centre and VILCOMM invite  6-10 students from the School of Computing and Information Technology to become part of its research, development and maintenance team.  The students have branded themselves "Technosync" . 

Using a self-directed method, these students are also taught  the following technologies in our labs:  

 

  • Imaging and optimisation

     

  • Web authoring

  • Web programming and scripts

  • Web databases and scripts

  • E-commerce

  • Video conferencing

  • Collaboration tools

  • Voice recognition

  • Computer telephony
