Land Economy & Valuation Surveying Diploma


About the Programme

The Land Economy and Valuation Surveying Diploma Programme is offered on a three- year full-time and four-year part-time day release basis.

The programme seeks to investigate the environment and to extract those components affecting land and buildings and to relate them to the needs of the society.

The main framework of the programme is centred on the following areas:

  • Urban and Rural Studies
  • Economic Studies
  • Technology Studies
  • Appraisal Studies

CAREER OPPORTUNITES

Graduates from the LEVS programme can be employed by the Government, property companies, private chartered surveying firms, real estate firms, Urban Development Corporation, banks etc.

Duration: 3 Years (Full-time)
               4 Years (Part-time)

Entry Requirements:

In accordance with general University entry requirements, students entering the programme must have a minimum of:-

Mathematics, English Language, and three other CXC passes at General Proficiency Grades 1, 2 or (3 from June, 1998) or GCE ‘O’Level minimum Grade C, or equivalent.
