2008 Intercollegiate Badminton Champions

The armours of the UTech Badminton Knights shone brightly on November 27, 2008 when both our male and female teams captured the Intercollegiate Badminton Titles at the Chinese Benevolent Association.

Both teams encountered our neighbours, University of the West Indies, Mona in the finals. The males had

a 3 - 0 victory while the females won by a 3 - 1 score line.

GOLF NEWS!

At the Northern Caribbean University Golf Tournament held on November 30, 2008 at the Manchester Golf Club, student representatives from the University of Technology, Jamaica were winners:

1st Place: Dean Jones

Score: 97 gross

2nd Place: Lenworth Beckford

Score: 105 gross

Staff Gradle Grant was both 2nd place Winner and Nearest-to-the-Pin Prize Winner.
