MARKETING SEMINAR OVERVIEW
The annual marketing seminar has become a notable event on the School of Business Administration calendar and has remained a rich learning experience
for the final year Degree Marketing Students of the University of Technology, Jamaica.
Over the past 23 years the seminar has provided the part time and full-time marketing students
with a practicum that integrates the theoretical and practical skills acquired from courses
at the university.
The seminar also brings together practicing marketing professionals and students in a dynamic forum
of exchange, discussion and learning.
The seminar is significant in two respects:
. No other group of tertiary students attempts to achieve a presentation of such a dimension
. The event represents a significant partnership between the university and the private sector.
