Master of Science (MHA) in Health Administration (PMSHEADFTU1)
- Matriculants are expected to be holders of an undergraduate degree with a GPA of 2.70 or equivalent in a Health discipline, Business or other related fields.
Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition (PMSPUHUPTU1)
The minimum entry requirement is a Bachelor's degree in the Natural and Applied Sciences, Health Sciences or other related disciplines from an accredited institution. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 or equivalent.
Other professional certification may be considered on a case-by-case basis and will be required to develop a portfolio for evaluation for entry via Prior Learning Assessment.
Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics and Nutrition (PDPDINUFTU1)
- Completion of a BSc. Dietetics and Nutrition or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Caribbean School of Nursing
Master of Science for Nurse Anaesthesia (PMSNUANFTU1)
- Minimum requirement GPA of 2.7, or lower second class honours degree or its equivalent. Must be a Registered Nurse with at least five (5) years working experience.
- Midwifery qualification is optional.
- Registered Nurses without midwifery qualification will be required to complete twelve (12) weeks rotation in maternity units prior to admission.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year operating theatre experience in Critical care nursing experience would be an asset.
- Minimum requirement may be determined by Prior Learning Assessment
Post Diploma in Trauma Studies and Integrative Counselling (PPGTSICPTU1A)
Master of Science in Trauma Studies and Integrative Counselling (PMSTSICPTU1A)
- Applicants should have a first degree with at least 2.7 GPA, or lower second class honours degree
- Applicants with a first degree should have prerequisite modules in Introduction to Psychology and one of the following Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology or Health Psychology, or
- Applicants with years of practice providing trauma related support maybe considered by Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) determined by the University
- Applicants should demonstrate awareness of emotional and mental well-being, motivation for study and emotional maturity.
School of Pharmacy
Master/Doctor of Philosophy (M.Phil./Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutics (PMPPHAMPTU1)
Specializations:
Pharmaceutics or Pharmaceutical Technology
- A Bachelor in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field from UTech, Jamaica or any other accredited institution
Post Baccalaurette Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.)(PPHPHARPTU1)
- Applicants should be registered practicing pharmacists with a Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or equivalent from an accredited institution. Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent.
- Special Entry* Bachelor of Pharmacy graduates with 3.1 or greater GPA
Applicants should have at least one year experience as a practicing pharmacist and clinical experience from a recognized institution. (Except for #2)
