The mission of the School of Public Health and Health Technology is to:
- Establish state-of-the-art amenities and facilities in Information and communication Technology infrastructure for enhancement of the teaching/ learning process
- Employ expert and highly competent faculty to advance teaching, service and research for sustainable health and environment development
- Achieve accreditation as an educational institution for Public Health, Health Technology and Environmental Health
- Prepare highly competent and adaptable public health practitioners
- Develop and deliver needs-based community health training programs
- Offer Public Health, Health Technology and Environmental Health services to communities and countries
- Inform Health policy locally regionally and internationally
- Engage in local partnerships with public and private entities
- Generate income to support the School in a profitable and sustainable way
- Have global reach with partnerships and collaborations, and in the scope and content of its academic work
