Welcome

The College of Business and Management, comprising the Schools of Business Administration and Hospitality and Tourism Management, was established in academic year 1998/99.

The policy of the Faculty is to create and maintain close strategic alliances with corporate Jamaica and other similar entities in the region to help ensure the continued relevance of its programmes. Exemptions from certain professional examinations are also available to some graduates of the degree and diploma programmes.

Undergraduate students of the Faculty are attracted by its reputation of superior instruction and the positive reviews received from employers and alumni. Many have assumed leadership positions in the financial services, hotel, restaurant, and tourism service areas, in management consulting, in the education sector, as well as in certain areas of the industrial sector. Some have also achieved success in entrepreneurial ventures and in the commercial, manufacturing, and information technology sectors.
