The University of Technology, Jamaica in celebration of its 50th Anniversary is hosting an International Conference on Business, Hospitality & Tourism Management under the theme: “Globalization and Technology: Impact on Business, Hospitality and Higher Education”, in collaboration with the University of Delaware, USA.  The 2008 International Conference is scheduled for October 08-11, 2008 at the Sunset Jamaica Grande Resort and Spa in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

TIMETABLE

Authors wishing to present papers at this conference must submit a 3-4 page abstract (in English) including name(s) of author(s), affiliation, postal and e-mail address. The abstract must cover the background, a brief literature review, the proposed method and implications of the study. 1. The timetable for the academic submissions are as follows:

1.      Abstract submission: February 15, 2008

2.      Feedback to authors: March 15, 2008

3.      Full paper submission: August 1, 2008

2. Authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to submit full papers by the August 1 deadline. Once the abstract is accepted, the author(s) must register by May 16th, 2008 and present the paper at the conference.
