Special Awards
The Calvin McKain Library was the recipient of
two awards at the 44
th
Annual Conference of the
Association of Caribbean University, Research and
Institutional Libraries (ACURIL) Conference held in the
Bahamas in June 2014. The awards were:
The Systems Link International Award for “Innovative
and Effective Information Services with the
Application of Information Technologies”
The Proquest Award for “Leadership in the
Development of Research Solutions that Connect
People and Information”
The Proquest award was for The University Librarian’s
leadership as chair of the College Libraries Information
Network (COLINET), which is based at the Calvin
McKain Library.
